Oh hi there. My name is Cindy Kim. I currently reside in Calgary, Alberta and work full-time at a large oil & gas company.

I’m an aspiring Graphic & Web Designer. I’m still working on getting the required qualifications.

Here is what you will find at almostgeek.net:

Photography – My personal photos with a wide range of subject matter. They are mostly from my travels abroad and nearby. I also enjoy manipulating photos (especially into black & white with lots of contrast – you will see these in the Black & White gallery, of course). I’ve been using a Nikon D60 since January 2009; prior to this, a Nikon Coolpix 3200 (yes, it is a significant upgrade).

Artwork – School assignments and final projects, as well as independent artwork.

Portfolio – I was extremely lucky to be given the chance to use my design skills while working abroad in New Zealand. Here you will see samples of the work that I created.

I’m also a very random person and will often write about very random things. Like the Haminal – I really, really want one of these.
